Financial investments bring returns through profits and dividends. We save money for our future, make deposits in bank accounts. The money we save is used to buy something bigger than we have in present or in some financial crises.
I always wondered what to we save in our relationship for a rainy day. Should we not have a bank account for our relations also? We can open an emotional bank account for emotional savings.
We can deposit one lovey every-time our partner, friend, or sibling makes us smile or give us a surprise or do some small gesture to make us feel happy. Deposit one lovey every time you feel supported or someone has been thoughtful to you. Imagine if we keep depositing this in an emotional bank account and save it for the future.
